Jason Dorey AKA "DJ Fayder" is a veteran open Format DJ from Halifax, NS celebrating 28 years in the business. He began in 1994 at the age of 14 at Mega Sounds DJ services assisting as DJ at school dances, banquets and weddings all around the HRM.

Soon after that, cosmic bowling at Fairlanes in the Halifax Shopping Centre was the latest craze and you could find Jason spinning the latest radio friendly hits for all ages every weekend at the lanes.

Upon coming of age, Jason went on to successfully DJ the nightclub scene in downtown Halifax and held a residency at a number of the hottest local spots for the next couple of years: The Palace & Jerry's Pub, JJ’s, The Party House, 5171, Captain Eli’s and more.

For more than a decade to follow, Jason sailed the high seas as a Pro DJ for Carnival Cruise Lines and their “Carnival 2.0” entertainment program, having lots of fun and rocking the dance floor with diverse crowds from all across North America!

Most recently, after a long affair with the sea, Jason has returned to his roots in Nova Scotia and you can find him hosting pub games, DJ'ing private events, or planning his next big party somewhere around the province.
